The Visit Ogden website was recognized by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) with a Bronze Adrian Award for excellence in website design for the travel and tourism industry. Experts in hospitality, travel, tourism, and media selected VisitOgden.com as a winner from more than 1,200 entries in the 58th annual competition, the largest and most prestigious travel marketing competition globally.
About the Website
Visit Ogden, the official travel and tourism resource for the Ogden and Weber County, Utah region, decided to reimagine its online marketing platform to better capture the independent and adventurous spirit of the destination. The CVB partnered with Tempest Interactive Media to realize its design goals and move to a fully responsive platform.
To capitalize on Visit Ogden’s strengths, Tempest designed and developed a customized responsive website that showcases the imagery of the area, providing online visitors with an inspiring experience that highlights the incredible vistas and exciting activities available year-round in the Ogden area.A full microsite builder allows Visit Ogden to create custom online experiences to meeting and special event attendees, and an integration with iDSS allows Visit Ogden to manage all of its partner content from within the CRM. Forms, such as the RFP request, feed directly into the iDSS system, allowing the Visit Ogden team to easily manage fulfillment and ongoing group sales.
With the new website, Visit Ogden has been able to realize significant gains in site performance post-launch. Clean coding of the site combined with organic optimization has allowed the new VisitOgden.com site to realize incredible gains in organic search. Visit Ogden continues to partner with Tempest Interactive Media for ongoing digital marketing services, including search marketing, content optimization, paid media, and site optimizations.
