The Colorado Springs CVB partnered with Tempest to provide a comprehensive digital resource for travel showcasing the spectacular beauty and incredible activities available in the region. By combining a fresh take on the Colorado Springs CVB brand with best in class user interface features, Tempest looked to increase engagement with core target audiences and drive tourism to the region.
To capture the adventurous, colorful nature of the Colorado Springs region, the website’s overall creative direction leverages a vibrant color palette of bold oranges and soothing blues balanced by expansive white space. Stunning photography emphasizes the activities and natural attractions in the area. The clean approach to content and fonts provides a modern user experience, while the mobile-first navigation and user interface highlight the big city amenities visitors will find when traveling in the region. The new website captures the adventurous, colorful nature of the region and positions the website user as a participant, rather than as a spectator.
