The Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau team partnered with Tempest to build a new digital marketing platform. Before beginning the project, Visit Sedona had an outdated website that did not effectively leverage modern user interface technology and did not allow the Sedona team the flexibility it needed to advance its marketing activities in the ever-evolving travel and tourism space. By combining a fresh take on the Visit Sedona brand with best in class user interface features, Tempest looked to increase engagement with core target audiences and drive tourism to the region. 

The overall creative direction evokes high-end publications, spas, and luxury hotel brands. A conscientious use of white space is balanced by the deep crimson tones that evoke the iconic red rocks that define the Sedona landscape. The creative process was unique in that it needed to showcase the proximity of Visit Sedona partners to the major attractions in the area. To achieve this, Tempest created a persistent mapping solution which allows website visitors to easily identify the location of their preferred lodging and easily see its physical location relative to major attractions and amenities. The resulting new website allows Visit Sedona to present an integrated branding experience, inspiring its target audience to dream of all the possibilities Sedona has to offer.
